Lobby and advocacy

The lobby and advocacy program aims to mobilise African CSO opinion and generate sufficient support on the issues of international aid architecture and development cooperation reform. In order to maximise resource use both within and outside, ROA Africa network‘s main preoccupation is to empower its partners with knowledge and data, to enable them jointly to mobilise support and carry out advocacy at the national and international level.

In the same context the network provides a framework for dialogue among different stakeholders in the continent on the core issues from the network’s research work,  ROA Africa network provides a forum for interaction and consolidation of positions African CSOs, as well as new ideas for generating alternative and realistic development cooperation framework for Africa. The fora also aids in disseminating information gathered during the research, build support for the network to assure long term sustainability, and establish ROA Africa network as a leading public interest research and advocacy initiative for Africa.
